Re: [disklavier] new member wants info on converting disklavier floppies to .wav or midi files

2002-09-15 by Carol Beigel

Most Disklavier pianos can record in standard MIDI 0 format. For those that
can't, the file can be converted from its native ESEQ format to MIDI 0
format using the free utility programs on this website. MIDI 0 files can be
sent by email, or edited in sequencer programs to change notes and
expression, or have the sheet music printed from them.

You don't convert floppies, you convert files. Files can be stored on
floppies or hard disks.

This is a very nice feature of the Disklavier. You can be half way around
the world from your piano teacher, and still send the lessons back and
forth!
