What you are looking at is probably new than what I have seen, so I would recommend you check out the differences. The larger Pro models Ihave seen used a MarkII controller box. This means that they do not have the new CD capability that is necessary to use Piano Smart. Does this Disklavier have a Mark III or the Mark II DKV system on it? I have also seen Pro systems on the hand made S series of pianos. Is the piano a C or an S series? Is the only difference between the DC7A and the DC7Pro the piano or the Disklavier? Definitely a Pro model records more precisely, but if you are more interested in the playback capabilities, would the Mark III be better for you? We only know that you are looking for a Disklavier - not what you intend to use if for! I just thought I would point out that there are differences in the two models you are looking at. Enjoy your new Disklavier!
