up from the Mark II.

At this time, you cannot swap the control unit for a Mark III controller and 
get all of the features to work. So, there is no true upgrade to a Mark III 
at this time.

You can add a DCD1, which provides you with the CD-ROM drive and the ability 
to play PianoSoft Plus Audio CDs. However, this add-on unit will not provide 
you with the ability to play the new Smart PianoSoft recordings (which are 
floppy disk recordings that synchronize to commercial audio CDs).

The NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show takes place this 
month in California from January 16-19. Sometimes new products or upgrade 
options are announced at that time.
