My church is
fortunate to have a DC7PRO as our main musical instrument and they have
requested that I play for several months while our primary musician is
away. I own a DC1A for my home and I am accustomed to being able to access
all of the XG voices when layering the synth with the piano for a
performance. Unfortunately, the DC7PRO only allows me to access the 128
primary synth voices from the control panel for layering, even though a MIDI
file can access/play all voices. (And some of the best voices for layering
are the alternate voices....)
Is there a
cost-effective upgrade to replace the control unit of the DC7PRO with one that
will provide me with this access? We do not necessarily need CD
capability. (A software or firmware upgrade would be
preferred.)
Any guidance or
assistance would be appreciated....
