I have tried to purchase such a device and have not been able to find one. 
Can you direct me to a vendor ? I have been calling it a line driver. The 
local guitar stores don't have anything.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
