Good morning, everyone. Sorry, Don, to be slow to respond to your message. I have been out of the country attending the World Piano Conference (where I did a couple of presentations using the Disklavier). I suggest that you call Sweetwater Sound: (800) 222-4700. My salesperson is Kenny Bergle (x1270). He is excellent and can direct you on this matter regarding what is currently available. Generally speaking, the MIDI signal is refreshed when it goes through another powered MIDI device (such as a keyboard or MIDI interface) and is passed on to another. I have an old Yamaha YME8, which is a MIDI junction box/router with multiple Ins and Outs. It has its own power supply and can be used to couple long MIDI cables. Unfortunately, it is not made any more, but you may be able to find a used one.
