Those GT7s are great.  My suggestion is to use a UPS or surge protector when 
you are playing the piano.  Then uplug it when you are done.  I was actually 
playing on old upright piano once when a lightning bolt hit the roof of the 
building over the piano, came down through the ceiling and burned a hold the 
size of a softball through the lid of the piano.  Apparently the cast iron 
plate grounded the lighting strike as I am still here!  I still remember the 
smell of ozone and all my hair sticking straight out!  Sure cured my fear of 
thunderstorms!  Unfortunately, a GT7 does not have a cast iron plate!
