Those GT7s are great. My suggestion is to use a UPS or surge protector when you are playing the piano. Then uplug it when you are done. I was actually playing on old upright piano once when a lightning bolt hit the roof of the building over the piano, came down through the ceiling and burned a hold the size of a softball through the lid of the piano. Apparently the cast iron plate grounded the lighting strike as I am still here! I still remember the smell of ozone and all my hair sticking straight out! Sure cured my fear of thunderstorms! Unfortunately, a GT7 does not have a cast iron plate!
