Hi all, Despite a long search into the user's manuals, I still do not know how to build Smartkey midi files. I guess there are SysEx involved (special factory codes for the midi instruments) but I can't manage to get my laborious trials work, and I get no answers from Yamaha (on Holydays, lucky guys...) I've been said that the "Smartkey Software" was public, and CueTime as well. Anybody heard of a software converting DKV commands like "Guides" "Key prompt", "Keyrepeat" into a midi code I could glue into my Cubase sequencer's midi files ? Jean Debefve Theatre de Galafronie belgium PS the DU1A piano is rehearsing in a room situated just under a flat zinc roof. The temperature is about 39° Celsius (102 Fahrenheit). The actors are sweating buckets. Onecharacter is sleeping under a giant quill. The other wears a "wolf fur coat" that once in a while becomes a wolf suit. North Pole atmosphere... As the heat wave seems to be there for about 2.500 years ;-) , I'm afraid the temperatures won't change muche before the end of August, when our show will have its Premiere. Do I have to fear thermostat failure ? At which room temperature do I have to provide extra cooling, just in case? (the tunes the piano plays will not be very loud or use sixteen notes chords...) Does the humidity rate matter ? (audiences tend to breathe a lot during a 100° Fahrenheit performance...) Oh my ...
