No. It only plays and records ESEQ format. However, you can use the dkvutil software on this website to convert MIDI files to ESEQ. You also need to use the 720k floppies or you can play MIDI files from your computer into your Disklavier. If MIDI format 1 doesn't work, try converting MIDI 1 files to MIDI 0 files.
