There is a most interesting Disklavier currently posted on eBay, priced with its opening bid at $45,200. See: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2570822618&cat egory=43376 What surprised me is that it is a natural wood finish. Described as Bubinga Mahogany, but I really think it is Mottled African Mahogany. I would love to install the Disklavier unit into my 1928 Fischer 5' 4" grand in a pretty Florentine art case, highly figured walnut. However, local Yamaha dealer was adamant - ebony only, and only Yamaha. Too bad, how sad..... :-( Does Yamaha really make it possible for a Disklavier to be installed in a piano other their own? Thoughts of others? Regards, Terry Terry Smythe (204) 832-3982 55 Rowand Avenue smythe@... Winnipeg, MB, Canada R3J 2N6 http://www.mts.net/~smythe
