RE: [disklavier] Piano Moving recommendations

2004-01-15 by dan oconnor

Dear Levent:

I would suggest a piano mover only (or a firm that can do both). It was my
very fine experience with a DC3A that the roustabouts had the right tools,
moving dollies and disposition to offer a trouble free move. Watching them
lift and reattached the legs, and then position the piano was worth the
price of admission (I also had a tip for each of the 3 guys).

The real question is what would prompt you to move to Florida on a fine bone
chilling 3 degree day here in New England!!!

Cheers

Dan

Subject: [disklavier] Piano Moving recommendations

Hi Everyone,

I'm moving from New England to Florida and if it all possible, would like
to take my DC3A Disklavier with me. I prefer to use the same mover but
would consider separate piano mover as long as cost is not much more than a
professional furniture mover. I also considered selling my 2 year old DC3A
and buy one when I get there but I think I would loose too much money in
the process. If anyone had a similar experience or can recommend a good
mover please let me know. Any feedbacks would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Levent
