Very nice work Carol, thanks. I had some problems to download it, but finaly I have it. The photos and diagrams were really needed. A good reference not only for newbies but for most of us. Another issue. Had you noticed that in your midi files section in the Ragtime and Novelty Piano MIDIs page the file "Kitten on the Keys" is realy "Dizzy Fingers"? Is a great MIDI piano version, but is not Kitten on the Keys. --- In disklavier@yahoogroups.com, "Carol Beigel" <crbrpt@b...> wrote: > I have finally completed the first version of the Handbook of MIDI Player Piano Tools. It is posted in PDF format on my website at www.carolrpt.com This little handbook of 37 pages describes many of the things we discuss here in the Disklavier User's Group on Yahoo! I wrote the handbook to answer many of the questions that get asked all the time. Many thanks to all of you who have provided the answers! > > I have also added some new sections to the website: > A Trouble Shooting section on Connecting a MIDI Player Piano to a Computer > Managing Disks > Music Files > Music Software and Utility Descriptions > more software programs to download > > Should anyone find any mistakes on either the website or the Handbook (which is almost identical to the website) please let me know so I can correct them. I'm sure I'll be adding to the information as time and technology march on. Someday, I hope to be expert enough using the software described there to expand the information. > > > Carol Beigel
