Specially look for the disassembler, is a program that converts MIDI 
files to Text files and reverse the process.

It is useful if you want to inspect what is inside a midi file 
without a sequencer that ignores some Meta events.

Very easy to use, but a little tricky to install (you need to 
download 3 files)
