Disklavier

Hi There

I bought a brand new DU1A upright disklavier last June because I'd 
started having piano lessons last January. Since I've had the piano 
I've only really used the silent function. I've connected to my 
stereo system and played the demo floppy and CD disks that came with 
it. That's about all I've done with it. I found the instruction books 
quite confusing and I didn't understand some of the terms in the 
book. What bothers me is that I'm not getting the most out of the 
piano. From the messages I've read on this message board you all seem 
like experts. So I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind if I posted the 
odd (what probably seems stupid) question?
