Ann, Robert, and those who sent private email, Thank you for your encouragement. The RPT web site was a great lead. Thank you! I have started talking to technicians. I have also contacted Yamaha. Yamaha gave me a list of dealers to contact. If you've been following this saga, you may recall the first dealer told me they 'owned' NC. Every outlet -- indeed the first several stores I went too (even those using different names) where indeed this one company. BUT with the more extensive list from Yamaha it turns out there are some smaller dealers who I can easily drive to in NC. Well, well -- what a surprise :-). So it appears Yamaha may still be in the running. I have a couple of leads on tech's. I might even be able to work with an in state dealer which would be nice. Keep your fingers crossed.
