Dear Pianobench,

Thank you, Pianobench, for the announcement, and thank you John 
Walker for your efforts toward getting the e-competition files 
online.  

I especially appreciate the inclusion of directory files, and the 
availability of bundled and zipped file groups.  

To get the most complete attributions, one should download the web 
pages for all artists.  Those pages contain a comprehensive listing 
of selections performed by each artist. In playing around with these 
pages, I discovered that I could easily edit the MIDI file link for 
each selection listed on the downloaded artist page, so that it 
would play a local file on my PC instead of going out to the e-
competition site.  Thus these pages can become offline playlists 
that will allow one to choose individual (already-downloaded) SMF 
selections by an artist, for playing on the computer, or on the 
Disklavier via a MIDI interface. 

The most formidable challenge now is to find the time to listen to 
them all!
