Hi,

I have a 2000 Yamaha DC1 piano with the DKC500XRG control unit.

The piano recently stopped recording the pedals. It continues to record the keys fine. The piano does play back previous recordings that have pedal data. Also, I know the sensors must be working ok, because one of the options is to start recording once a key or pedal is pushed. I can start recording by pushing the pedal, however, when I play that recording back, only the keys are played back.

I have read that this control unit can be reset, but I haven't been able to find documentation on the Yamaha web-site.  I have been able to find instructions on how to reset the control unit for other models but not for the DKC500XRG.

Can you offer any guidance?
