Re: download files :- ecompetition 2004

2004-11-15 by carlyoungblood

This isn't ideal, but I have a few gigs of web space on my own server that I would be happy
to let the group use. Please contact me directly via email since I don't always check this
list very frequently. I say it's not ideal because it is a little more laborious:

1) The person sends me the file they want published online.
2) I upload it to my server and send them back the URL they need to use to access it.
3) They post this URL to the Links section of the site. (probably would be a good idea to
post an empty file in the files section called "See Links section for more files"
4) People download them.

Please allow me to help in this regard. I would like to have this material just as much as
everyone else.

Thanks,

Carl Youngblood

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
