Re: [disklavier] Frank Wildhorn files

2005-01-18 by Daniel J. O'Connor

Dear Jeremy:
You may wish to consider setting up your own web site for music. The yamaha disks can be very good, but they also are somewhat inconsistant, and are surely poorly marketed. In additon to a library of Yamaha disks, I have been able to collect thousands of songs (many very good) available either free on the web, or for a per song download fee. I mention this in the hopes of seeing your work successfully available sooner rather than late.
Cheers
Dan O'Connor

Hi Victor,

Funny you should request this... I have been Frank's arranger and music
supervisor for 17 years (as well as Linda Eder's musical
director/conductor)... It's my piano arrangements that you seek. I'm
flattered that someone out there would ask...

I own a DC5A and one of my projects is doing the definitive Wildhorn
songbook, as played by yours truly... We have 3 albums to complete this
spring then I am going to dig in... I have spoken with Yamaha about
publishing the titles, although nothing firm has been determined... I think
it's going to be a "build it and they will come" situation.

I'll be sure to let everyone on the list know when I get close to making
this a reality.

Thanks for letting me know you're out there...

Jeremy Roberts
