Hello Stew

 You are having a problem with a driver board the corrolates with the 
key that goes down at turn on. I am surprise you are not getting the 
PWM OVER Message!!1 I had a DGT2IIXG with the same exact problem and 
it was the driver board. Call Yamaha  800 854 1569
