Disklavier

Iam using YamPlayer to create discs for the Disklavier. I have created 
a playlist and index. Both have the same songs. If I add or change 
songs do I change the playlist or index? When I copied to a floppy it 
seemed I could only copy the index file or playlist file but not both. 
I'm not sure I understand the differences. Maybe I need some step by 
step directions THANKS!!!
