Like Yamaha's e-competition with their Pro series used for distance performances, can the Mark IV be performed in real time over the internet using another Mark IV in some distant location. Since the Mark IV can be played now via the USB 2.0 port and I believe (though I haven't done it) it can export its midi signals to other midi instruments then why shouldn't it be able to be played remotely in real time over the internet - even if there is a slight delay for cuing of packets. Then, one can hire someone in a mountain cabin in Alaska to play for a Maui party and even respond to party goers requests in real time. It provides a unique service for Mark IV pianists and is an impressive demo for Yamaha - a win-win for all. If VOIP (Voice Over IP) works then it seems MarkIVOIP is possible. Thanks, Bob
