Obviously you missed the instructions appended to every mail from this 
list that give explicit instructions on how to unsubscribe. It works. I 
recently subscribed another email address to the list and then 
unsubscribed because of the number of people complaining.

The email you replied to had at least three copies of the instructions 
appended! Follow the instructions. If you still have problems, email the 
group administrator (also detailed in the footer of every mail), or 
contact Yahoo groups support. It really isn't that hard.
