The DSR-1 is the only choice, and probably quite a
bargain for $1295.  It even includes a tone generator
(thousands of MIDI voices) and the extra memory to run
PianoSmart should you also buy a DCD1 CD player.

Without a DSR-1, you can control the piano playing
(MX100) from any computer using the MIDI out on the
controller connected to the MIDI in on what you have.
The Disklavier plays the piano keys from whatever MIDI
information is on Channel 1 or Channel 2.  Other MIDI
channels would need to go through a tone generator to
be heard (through powered speakers).
