Chris,

It sounds like your Disklavier needs a once-over by a Disklavier 
technician.  All the issues of regulation and vibration should be fixed 
by pretty simple adjustments.  Wells Music in Colorado Springs 
(formerly Good News Music) will be able to point you in the right 
direction.  If they don't have someone readily available, the certified 
technician for the Denver store is Marty Sweeney, and you can contact 
him via either location.

I'm not sure you would be able to do this, given electrical differences 
between the models.  I doubt if the connections even match up.  The 
DSR-1 is the way to go.

I'm not sure how to do this on an older model.  You can contact piano 
service at 1-800-854-1569 and ask for Freddie to get the best solution.
