Responding to Len's question, according to the Yamaha specs at Yamaha.com,
the DGT2 (Mark II) GranTouch accepts E-SEQ, MIDI type 1, and MIDI type 0
files.

Files that end in .fil are E-SEQ files.  With sets of .fil files there is
usually a .dir file but it is not essential.   

Do not mix .fil files and .mid files on the same floppy.  That will prevent
the disk from playing.  I believe there is also a problem with mixing type 1
MIDI and type 0 MIDI files on the same floppy.
