ATTN: Mr Terry Smith , Mr Roberts Clarance, Mr Peter Davis
Thanks for your emails. In order to save time I hope to write to all together.
The Piano is not a wagon type it is I thinkanewer model, may be mid1990,s. The control panal has the DKC100R disklavier mark 2 (non XG) on the controler.
However I get all the piano soft disk to playback using my Yamaha TYROS keyboard which plays all the other channels.
I also have a Toshiba computer connected to it whith about 300 midi files running a juke box for play back.I have more in disks, and any midifilewhich has more than 2 channels can be altered using a simple programe like cakewalk on the laptop to change instrument channels. Laptop is an extra connected via midi and not necessary to operate the disklavier. Disklaver has the floppy disk drive ehich plays ESQ (Yamaha disklaver type)files.
As the disklaver pianouses channel 1 and 2 for left and right and the others get parthed to the keyboard for accomanying sounds such as percussion and strings andbass etc.
I hope to set up a web page to put in some photos and some MPEG movi filesbefore I list on ebay. All the electronics and solonoids are still fitted to the piano stillso that I can demonstrate it before dismantalling for transporting.
Yes, it has all the origianl manuals and also I have all the repaire manuals for it which will be sold with the piano. I will try and list all the items I have in a free webpage when i get the time.
The piano has to go as we dont have the room for the new one which is going to be comming in Mid January.
the pianovery nice tolook at but sadly needs too much work to get it to a very good state. The hammers and the action are perfect and like new. Good iorn harp fraim and a beutiful grand piano casing in ivory white. Needs a new keyboard and a sound board. We never played itbut was just ornamentaland sat in the lounge athome. A very rare opertunity to get a disclavierpianofor parts.
Let me know if you need more info. Sorry I do not have the time to write individually while juggling with work and home and the Kids.
Can anyone recomenda goofree web sites to list some photos andh MPEG videos of the piano?
Thanks
B
