I think the feat would definitely be mechanically possible, but your point about how musically necessary it is may be valid. However, there may be people aurally astute enough to distinguish between more than 1000 velocity levels. If this is humanly possible, then I think one could argue that there would be benefit in increasing the sensitivity level. But I agree that it is not extremely important. Carl
