RE: [disklavier] HELP! Mark4 will not boot

2006-12-04 by Glenn R. Smutny

Hi,

Just a thought . . . When you have powered down the unit, have you also
completely unplugged it from the wall outlet and waited a few minutes? I
would do that so that you know that you are getting a 100% complete shut
down of all systems. Then give it a try. I have found this to help on an
occasion or two.

Hi,

Try switching the power off completely (while the piano is in stand-by mode)
and waiting a minute before switching back on. If it still won't boot after
a couple of attempts, it may be worth trying to load the software update.

If this still doesn't work, it would be best to call in a technician (I'd
suspect a power supply problem or a crashed hard drive)
