There are a few steps involved so this is going to be long....

Is it an electronic keyboard with MIDI In and Out? If so, get familiar
with a sequencer software. There are some off the shelf (find them at
retailers like Best Buy). Some higher end with additional audio
capabilities (ie. cakewalk sonar) can cost over $100. The more
expensive packages usually are more intuitive, have more features and
better documentation.

Once you've recorded your piece into the PC via midi, you can edit it
for perfection and play it back through either your keyboard (ala mid
in) or even your soundcard in the PC. But this is a midi file...not a
digital audio file required to burn a CD. You need to convert this
into an audio file format, or to put it another way, you need to now
record the audio being generated by the midi file you have created.

To burn an audio CD (one to played in a car, home stereo, etc.), you'll
need a soundcard on your PC that has inputs (for recording audio).
Cakewalk software is good for this step in that it will both drive the
midi performance and record the inbound audio in one step. Once the
piece is recorded in the audio format you are finished with the midi
file. Using the Cakewalk software, you could further eq or enhance the
audio file so it is suitable for home audio listening. Then, using
Cakewalk again, you save/convert the cakewalk audio file into a format
that can be used with any cheap audio CD burning software (ie Roxio).

Midi => PC
PC (midi) => digital audio
digital audio => CD

Its not as difficult as it sounds. I'm sure others in this forum can
improve on what I've said....Hope this helps.
