More Bay Area rock trivia

 

Corey the keyboardist for PC went on to become major soundtrack composer for
mostly Saturday morning kid's shows.

 

Like Danny Elfin (of local Bay area cult band, Mystic Knights of the Oingo
Boingo . later shortened to Oingo Boingo) . note that Danny is a super star
doing all of Tim Burton's soundtrack (Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before
Christmas, Batman, etc. etc.)

 

The Pablo Cruise band had a good number of hits and million unit selling
albums on A&M, but their A&R advances ate them alive . even with all the
money from touring these guys barely got to have house with a normal
mortgage .

 

I was also in bands recording at the Record Plant in Sausalito when PC was
there (as was Prince at age 17, Fleetwood Mac, the Doobie Brothers, and
others) .. an awesome time circa 1977-1979 in Marin County.

Apparantely the bands C-7 is for sale cheap. As we say in the horse 
business, it looks like its been rode hard and put away wet, but 
hey, if pianos could talk, right?

Slap a pianodisc system in there and you might really have something.
