Assuming that this piano is from a regular Yamaha dealer and was made for the 
American market, that is an outstanding price. (Be careful of "gray market" 
dealers who import used pianos from Japan. Those pianos were not made for our 
climate.) The piano itself, without the Disklavier features, lists for about 
that much. The list price on the MX100IIXG was about $14,295 to $15,295 
depending upon the finish.

In my experience, Yamaha studio uprigths are extremely well built. I have a 
P2F from 1971 which is still a wonderful piano. I also think that the Mark 
IIXG Disklavier system (which I have in a grand) is an excellent system. It 
does not have the CD audio features of the new Mark III, but is otherwise 
wonderful.
