I am not sure if anyone is interested but below I have listed some PianoDisc CD's that I have purchased.
As you can see some work on the Disklavier and some do not.
I have not been able to figure out if there is a way of knowing before buying a PianoDisc Cd if it will play on a Disklavier.
It seems that the Silent Drive format never works.
PianoDiscs has a lot of nice products and you seem to get more music for the money than on a typical Yamaha disk.
I hope this info is useful to someone so you don't waste money like I did.
If anyone has any addition knowledge on this please let me know. IE: How to create backup copies that work.
If anyone can add to the list either good or bad please do so.
I am real surprised that PianoDisc and Yamaha does not make an effort to standardize. It only make sense that the market if bigger by providing products that work on all players even if they offer the same disks in different formats. QRS and Virtuoso seem to have it down.
