In the case of the Mark II, Standard MIDI Files Type 0 were never fully 
implemented. That partial implementation includes the fact that certain 
features of the remote control do not work for SMF Type 0 files. However, for 
the subsequent series of Disklaviers (including Mark IIs upgraded to Mark 
IIXGs), the remote control works fully with both E-SEQ and SMF.
