Good evening, everyone. I have the pleasure to announce an unusual event, happening at Yamaha Artist Services in New York City. On Tuesday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m., Edisher Savitsky--1st place winner of the 3rd Minnesota International Piano-e-Competition in 2006--will discuss his upcoming New York debut and perform excerpts at the Yamaha Artist Services location on 689 5th Avenue (entrance on East 54th Street). Although the presentation will take place in New York, Mr. Savitsky will do his playing from his home in South Bend, IN. On Tuesday, Mr. Savitsky will establish a video conference connection to Yamaha Artist Services and will simultaneously connect his Mark IV Pro Disklavier to the Mark IV Pro Disklavier on the stage in the YASI salon. These connections will enable Mr. Savitsky to discuss his program with the assemble audience of distinguished guests and music lovers, take questions from the audience, and to perform excerpts directly on the salon piano. The piano-to-piano connection makes use of a forthcoming Mark IV feature currently known as Remote Lesson. This feature enables multiple Disklaviers to be connected over the Internet. When such a connection is established, a concert performer, teacher, or student can simultaneously play every connected piano. If you wish to attend or obtain more information, please call (212) 339-9995 (0) or email YASI@.... Regards, PianoBench
