what is the FIL file format, can I use that on my Mark IV

Trying to downlaod free files for the Mark IV and preplay them with 
windows meadia player. The FIL file will not play.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
