Yeah, I was told by my piano dealer that my DC3A (like all models prior) would be upgradable as they released new models. Wish I would have recorded her voice and/or got it in writing! :) I'm still wishing that they would have an upgrade path besides total trade in for a Mark IV. I would be sending Yamaha my monthly subscription to "radio" feature. Oh yeah, I'm dreamin'... Yanmaha: please think about an upgrade path for us!
