Re: [disklavier] Widi-mac-rondo

Greetings Joel,

It is possible. Can't you play MIDI files from Garage Band as a test? If you get stuck and need something tested, I do have an OS X Mac here right on the piano and have WIDI so I can test things.

When I first set up the WIDI on a PC, I had a problem almost like yours. I don't think I got even 3 minutes and it would quit. I forget if the green light was still on but I think it was. I changed the channel from a low number, probably 1, to 64 and never had the problem again. I think there might have been some strange interference problem but why it made the files play for a short fixed period is still a mystery.

Somewhere I have a link for another MIDI playlist player for the Mac that is good. I used QMIDI for a while but found something better. Forget what it was but is was only $30 or so and even the demo version played full songs. I try to figure out what it was if you are interested. I would like to put it on the Mac but I have too many things to do for now.
