Greetings Carol,

I don't own a Disklavier and besides there are so many models. I have
an LX (actually two of them) player and they play just about anything
you can feed them. I test my Disklavier and Pianodisc CDs on the LX
and everything plays fine. Of course there are some newer CDS with
accompaniment that were made to be exclusic=ve to a certain brand and
they may not work.

If the Disklavier in discussion has audio in inputs, it should be
possible to play audio encoded MIDI with an accompaniment audio
channel through a computer. Most computers will allow you to play
audio output from a WAV file on a CD.

As you suggested, PD and DKV may have the MIDI/audio on opposite
channels. You can make up a switch to change these with a line level
switch and wye cables all available from Radio Schack. I think I
posted an e-mail to this group about how to configure this.

It might even be possible to play wirelessly this way through Itunes
although Itunes seems to like MP3 files more than WAV and it can be a
challenge to add text tags to WAV files that will displayin Itunes.
