Disklavier

Let me ask the question another way:

Will it ever be possible to replace the main controller with one that has
the IDC facility?

Disklavier Radio (and other direct download functions) can only be accessed
by products with Yamaha's Internet Direct Connection (IDC) facility. Since
the Mark III doesn't have this feature, it is not possible to use it to
access Disklavier Radio.
