Disklavier

I use the Yamaha UX16 USB MIDI Interface. I think I picked it up on Ebay for around $40 on Ebay.

Hello, 
   Need some advice about connecting my Mac to my disklavier (control unit DKC100R). I understand a midi interface device is required.  My question is: There are so many midi interface devices to choose from ranging in price from $5.00 - $50.00 dollars, does it matter which one I use?  Is one device better than another?  Has anyone had first-hand experience?
     I hope after making the connection between the piano (via the disklavier's midi in/out) and the midi interface device and then to the Mac computer to be able to play the piano and record into a music editing software program. Then to be able to reverse the process and have the computerized music come through and be played on the piano.  
     Any advice would be appreciated.
