Disklavier

A good question!   Because I wanted the maintenance and calibration features and the better volume control plus the ability to play XP (pro song files), I ended up using both the original MarkII XG Pro controller box as master and the DKC-850 box as slave.  This gives me much better control over the instrument. The only thing I loose is D-Radio, but it's an easy cable swap and one "setup selection" on the 850 and I'm back in business for internet radio (if I want it, and frankly I'm not that impressed with it yet).  Also, I believe the Disklavier Tech Rep told me that there wasn't any self-test/maintenance modes for the 850 like there are with the prior controller units that came with our Disklavier.  Any confirmation on that Bill?
