Unfortunately the unit must have LAN hardwired to I/O port. What I did to get virtual wireless without hardwiring my house: I bought trendnet network adapter (2 of them TPL 401E) to plug in to my electrical lines. I plugged one in to an electrical outlet by my primary router which is connected to my primary router. The other adapter is plugged in an electrical outlet next to my piano. I run a LAN cable from this adapter to a second wireless router. I run a hardwired LAN from the second wireless router to the piano. The key is having the piano connected directly to the wireless router. This let's you control the piano wirelessly. I use the disklavier application for iPhone. The iPhone must be on the same wifi network as the piano. You can also then access the PC file in disklavier from any computer connected to the same wifi. I download midi files directly to disklavier this way. Good luck. Ty Thomas
