Disklavier

If there is room for a DCK500RW, there is room for the DKC-850. 
 
I replaced a DKC500RW with a DKC-850 on my DC3PRO and the 850 bracket is the
same external dimensions as the 500 (using the same screw hole placement to
mount  its bracket to the piano), and the controller itself is marginally
smaller in form factor.

Is there enough room to mount the DKC850 under the keyboard of a U1 based
upright disklavier (e.g. DU1A, MPX1Z), as you might on a grand, using the
brackets designed for a grand? It appears there is enough room to mount the
DKC500RW controller my MPX1Z came with under the keyboard if I am creative
with how I run the control cable. It would make things a lot tidier for me
if this was possible!
