Bill,
I would be glad to help. I have Adobe acrobat X Pro which should be able to reduce the file size. I would like to use
Transferbigfiles.com its free. Email me if interested. Link to site is below. Just select create free account.

If someone has the ability to reduce the resolution of my MX100A 33MB PDF file for use in the group, I would be happy to send the file to you, using YouSendIt.

That sounds huge. It must have been scanned at a very high resolution. Everything in the vault combined is under 40 MB. It would need to be rescanned at a more reasonable resolution like 150 to 200 dpi. Not a big deal if you have an auto document feeder on your scanner or all-in-one, but a time consuming pain in the butt to do one page at a time on a platen.

The file size of my PDF file is 33MB. Looks like 5 MB is the limit for uploading a file.

I don't know why it is so big other than the fact that it was scanned 15 years ago. Any ideas on how I can get the file to the group?

Bill

That’s an easy one.
  1. Got to the site http://Yahoogroups.com/group/disklavier
  2. Sign in if you aren’t already signed in.
  3. Pick Files off the left side menu.
  4. Pick add files off the horizontal top menu.
  5. Done.

I have a scanned copy of the MX100A owners manual and MIDI Handbook that I would be happy to give to the file vault. I just don't know how to do that.

If you’re nice enough to do all that scanning, please upload a copy to the file vault on the site. Thanks.

Hi Jason,

I have found my original Book MX-100A Owners Manual.
It is 34 pages long, so will take a while to scan.
I will keep you informed as to the progress.
I also have another book called MX-100A MIDI Handbook.
Cheers
Jeremy
