Thanks for the info. I'll check the dkvutils file. I have a mark iii so I don't believe I have the playlist capability. It's a pain to have to swap both floppies and the cd just to hear one or two songs. Hoping I can find a solution. --- In disklavier@yahoogroups.com, "kenruda" <ken@...> wrote: > > On the Mark IV -- I have made a recording plus audio (midi file with a sync'd audio wave file recording). I know a person can save a midi out and I think there is a way to copy the audio wave file out of the system. If so, I think there is a tool that will create an audio plus CD type disc. It won't do exactly what you want... Check in the files section under utilities and in Dkvutils.zip something like mid2cd I think. It's been a while since I used it. > > I have also created my own Smart PianoSoft sync ecording on my Mark IV by recording my own accompaniment "midi" track to an ordinary audio CD, but I have never tried to copy the file to a floppy and see if it will play and sync on another Disklavier. > > But, if you had an Mark IV, you could just create a playlist of your favorite smart PianoSoft so they could play in any order you like. > > I hope that helps. As far as I know, there isn't a current tool to do what you are asking, but I don't know if there may be a copyright issue. Can one create a playlist on a the Disklavier 850 control unit? > > --- In disklavier@yahoogroups.com, "uhhmmmmmmmmmm" <ronjong@> wrote: > > > > Hi, I own a number of pianosmart titles and would like to create a customized cd that will play alongside a customized floppy. Ideally, I would like to take, say a few songs from one and a few from another and burn my own audio cd. Can I then copy the corresponding mid files to another floppy and somehow get them to all work in sync? Seems like it should be doable but I don't understand how the disklavier system syncs the audio cd with the floppy. I just don't like to play all the songs and hate to switch discs just for one or two songs. > > > > Any help would be appreciated. > > >
