The dck500R module of my  MPX1 has a strange behaviour :

Intermittently (sometimes, not always? im not able to pinpoint any direct causes) the unit will power off for what seems just a split second so the "powering on" process starts again with the welcoming srceen message etc.

I have opened carefully the unit to see if there was not a loose part but everything looks pristine and perfect, also I went to have a look inside the piano to see if I ould detect any loose part or connectors (specially in the power unit area) but again there everything looks perfect.

At first I thought that it was happening only when the unit would be reading a diskette, but i have notice that it aslo happens sometimes if the unit is receiving midi data (from the computer) and also when the unit is just "on" without performing any tasks.

The power on/off button seeme sometime to be extra sensitive, just barely passing a finger over ou around it is enough to restart the unit again. 

So woulld it be the unit itself, the power unit in the piano or something else ? Does it ring any bells ?

ps: Im thinking of getting a DKC850, is it likely to happen there also ?
