Glenn, Is the piano playing (acoustically) back louder than it used to play or is it that the audio volume no longer goes up to the level it used to be? You are describing a problem that is correctable, I am just not sure what the problem is, ...YET. Bill Sent from my iPhone. I have one of the very early Mark IV DC3's which I purchased in late September 2004. I have always loved the piano and never regret the purchase. As of late though, I seem to be having a volume problem. I do not seem to be able to raise the volume of the audio tracks behind the piano to a point that it is fully audible. I know this was a huge issues with the Mark Ii & III's, but I never recall there being such a problem with my piano over the past 8 years. I do know that I have an issue with the PRC battery needing to be replaced, but generally I have always found that item to be fairly useless because of it's short battery life on a charge, and the short distance it has to be from the piano itself. Now that iPod / iPad devices exist, I use my iPad with the Yamaha Disklavier app, or I utilize Kevin Goroway's interface DKVBrower V.1.8 on my MAC. The audio balances out when I play the piano in Quiet Mode, but that is not why I bought the Disklavier. I do have the Audio Volume turned up to 126. I have even gone in and attempted to set the Main Volume Adjust to -65% and the Audio Volume Adjust to +20%. It does no good. I have checked the volume control on the speakers themselves and they are turned up as high as they will go. I have shut the piano down and rebooted freshly. I'm kind of out of ideas. The issue exists no matter which album I play. Any help would be appreciated. I don't think so, but would a working PRC resolve the issue any differently than the iPad app? Thanks in advance for your help. Glenn Smutny G.SMUTNY@...
