I am thinking about buying a DC2XE3 but am thinking there might be a new model due. How often do they upgrade the Disklaviers ie every 2-3 years ... Will the new SH Silent system be added shortly?

If you are looking at a DC2XE3S, this is a new model (released in the last year.)

This piano has the Silent System built in. If the piano you are looking at does not, then the piano is not a DC2XE3S. If it is 5'8" long, without the Silent System, then it is a DC2E3.
The E3 system will be in the Yamaha lineup for many more years.
