Just wondering if you noted the same behaviour of your sustain pedal or this is just my piano only.

I have G2 with MARK4 and every time I release the damper pedal it falls with a notable sound which looks like a sound of a construction of the piano not just damper felt falls to the strings.Not sure if that possible as the piano technician said it is withing the allowed range(?) but my wife once woke up in the night in the other room just because of that noise (as I played in the headphones).

Especially it is very distracting when I play a midi file - it sounds like a huge hammer falls on the floor each time :)

For me other pianos in shops have significantly quieter sound (but I didn't try them at night in a complete quiet room) and they don't have a vibration in the end of the pedal movement.

Just appreciate any feedback.
